Speaker at the Official Samsung India Galaxy Note 10 launch
The official Samsung Galaxy Note10 launch for India happened in August 2019 and was live streamed with over two million viewers online. HC Hong, President and CEO of Samsung, South West Asia introduced the phone to the subcontinent .The event was covered by all leading news channels and newspapers.

I pursued my Masters in Design from the National Institute of Design, India after which I worked as a Senior and then Lead Designer (full time) at Samsung and then as a Senior Product Designer (full time) at Covered by Sage. ( you can check the impact page to see some of the projects that i worked on during my time there)
During the pandemic i decided to pursue a second masters - MSc in Human Computer Interaction and travelled to Universität Siegen, Germany.
My thesis topic at this university was "Facilitating Relation Work in Computer
Supported Collaborative Work within Hybrid Settings in IT Companies "
supervised by Prof. Dr. Volker Wülf and Prof. Dr. Markus Rhode.
During my time at the university i also worked briefly as a research assistant under Prof. Dr. Marc Hassenzahl. I then worked as a UX designer (working student) for SAP while studying. At SAP i contributed ideas and designs towards building a future composable platform specifically for process modelling. I also recently defined the user experience of the SAP Analytics Cloud viewer for the Apple Vision Pro which was just released on February 2024.
While going back to studying after a burgeoning career is not the norm i however hope (dear reader) you see this as a testament of my dedication to my craft and my willingness to constantly learn and grow.
My approach to design is an intersection of user needs, business strategy and technical constraints. I believe design is a superpower that is truly exercised can help resolve any world problem. I have a work experience of 5 years( full time) in the design industry.
My key skills include Product Discovery, Ideation, User research, Synthesis of insights via various tools and frameworks , User/ Usability testing, Visual design, Interaction design, Futuring , Story telling and Presentation, Workshop facilitation, Design system Contributions and Stakeholder Management.
During my free time I write and make music. As a part time illustrator I have also very recently been using Instagram to create art representing marginalised and indigenous communities from my home town. You can check them out here .Some of my work has been featured in Tapestree, Sister Library and ESPN.
Lately I have been swimming in tabs of Medium and Sub stack articles to understand how AI is being used in product development by devs and des.
Additionally I am learning German (A2).
Participant in the London International Festival of Theatre
Got a chance to be part of the London International Festival of Theatre as an actor where we performed a successful week long ticketed show at Theatre Royal, Stratford East. London. This cultural exchange was an eye opener and my first ever international trip and i got to learn so many things from the amazing people i met from fields of design and art.
Organised Indrenilingo
Organised the first ever LGBTQIA + event , along with a team of 7 members, which was a dialogue series and a talk event at my home town Darjeeling, India, just before the pandemic. The was done in collaboration with an educational Insitute , South Field College" . The outcome was positive and laid for foundation of the town‘s first Queer Organisation called Indreniling.
Band Member of Easy Wanderlings
Easy Wanderlings is a soul indie band for which i was the lead singer and sing writer at its inception. I quit the band after the release of the first album . The songs that I sang for the first album are Summer is away, Faces and Dream to Keep Us Going. I also lent my writing for the songs Faces and Ode to the Bristlecone pine .With the band I performed at NH7 weekender, Pune(one of India's largest music festivals ) and Sofar Sessions, Bangalore . This whirlwind adventure garnered a lot of media attention and the band has established itself as a successful indie band since.
